My goal is to make our bodies more comfortable to house our spirit by relieving tension.
Since becoming a mom in 2018, I value massage much more than I did when I first started out as a fitness enthusiast in 2011. I have experienced the torque of carrying my child on my spine such that I had migraines and brachial nerve impingement. Massage helped me away from these conditions. Regular massage and yoga allow me to continue doing the things I love and stay out of pain. I have helped hundreds of people alleviate compression on their nerves and enjoy better range-of-motion. With structural bodywork, I am able to help relieve kinks in the neck, restrictions around shoulder blades and, low-back pain or pain in the hips. I also have experience working with scoliosis, thoracic outlet syndrome, plantar fasciitis, lumbar disc issues and cervical disk issues.
I value massage for sports recovery, as well, and help people achieve better results in their workouts and maintain their activities. I have worked in ski resorts for three years, giving me a lot of practice on tight muscles.
I keep a home for a black cornish rex, american short-haired tortise shell, a 6 year old boy and a mini pitbull. I love my garden-grown tomatoes. I love to go out dancing, for leisure activities I like to play cards and read non-fiction.
Psychedelia has been an important influence on me my entire adult life, helping open my mind to my body after being shut down in adolescent depression. Practice of meditation with sacrament has enriched my perception of sensation and dimensions, leading me to much more happiness and a keen awareness. Yoga and massage have been an integral part of my journey. Discovering the joy of being in an Earth-body is unparalleled. Each moment, we may experience blessings.
